American Airlines has major plans for a beautiful terminal redesign and new gates in concourse D at the Miami International Airport.
The construction is scheduled to start in 2027 with completion in 2030.
Construction at the 800 room Grand Hyatt Miami hotel attached to the Convention Center is on track to open late in 2027. Keep an eye on Lincoln Road, our historic shopping and dining promenade, we expect to see a lot of changes as it becomes the easy walking distance go-to for attendees.
It’s the end of an era as Nikki Beach is scheduled to close in May. If you know you know, as a Planner considering Miami, this spot was always in contention. A new owner with plans for a major remodel is working through the details with the city.
We will keep you posted when renderings and details are finalized but in the meantime we say a loving goodbye to an iconic venue.
